ACL Surgery
Well, I had my ACL reconstructed in my left knee on July 29th as a result of a skiing injury that occurred in March. I was a bit apprehensive to have it given work and family and the need to be productive! Well after 12 days, I am happy to report that I am in fact back in the game and traveling, working, playing with my family and doing some level of normal activity. I have attended several PT sessions and am gaining strength each day. I look forward to the challenge of getting myself back in shape and resuming normal activities over the next 6-9 months.

Getting reconnected to my blog
I feel like I need to keep up with my blog. Not that I have profound things to say but it is an outlet to get my thoughts out.
I am reading a very interesting book by David McCullough on Truman. I am amazed at how much detail and nuances you don't truly get out of traditional education. I am learning so much about the time period from the late 19th through the mid-20th century.
I am in Phoenix now looking forward to getting home on Thursday night. I sure miss the routine of being at home and being with my family. It is fun to see and hear my little guys growing and "speaking" their minds! I heard Jacob today found a penny and told his mom, I found a piece of a dollar...I love the intuitiveness...
